Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) is seeking a Project Administrator to support the final phase of project implementation in Kenya. This role is designed to support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of an integrated FCDO-funded project in Turkana and Kilifi. The project focuses on strengthening social accountability, sustainable livelihoods, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) while building the capacity of civil society groups and community networks to advocate for equitable access to public services and lead sustainable, community-driven development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities in Turkana and Kilifi regions.
Reporting: Support the preparation and submission of project reports ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Capacity Building: Work to strengthen the capacity of civil society groups and community networks for advocacy and accountability.
Program Alignment: Support initiatives related to social accountability, sustainable livelihoods, and SRHR.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate positive change and build sustainable working relationships with community stakeholders.
Knowledge Sharing: Actively seek and share knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or HND in Project Management, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Foundational knowledge in project management, social accountability, SRHR, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
