The Project Accountant role is crucial for managing the financial aspects of various projects within the group. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, thereby supporting overall project financial health and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Own and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, Work In Progress (WIP) reports, and revenue schedules.
Lead detailed cost tracking efforts, perform comprehensive variance analysis, and manage all client billing processes.
Ensure strict financial compliance, accurate financial reporting, and readiness for external and internal audits across all projects.
Collaborate effectively cross-functionally with various teams and present clear, actionable financial insights to management.

Requirements and Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience in project accounting. Experience in construction or systems integration industries is highly desirable.
Education/Certification: Possession of CPA, CMA certification, or a relevant Finance degree (BA/BSc/HND qualification).
Technical Skills: Proven expertise (prowess) in using ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Mindset & Soft Skills: Must possess a strong "costing mindset" and a keen eye for detail, along with a dedication to cross-team collaboration and effective communication.
Bonus Experience: Experience working with systems like fire alarms, CCTV, or automation platforms is considered a significant plus.
