Job Description
The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is seeking a Program Assistant Partnerships and Data Management for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). The position involves system administration for software utilized by the CIMMYT Global Maize Program (GMP) in managing intellectual assets and technology transfer, alongside contract lifecycle and partnership management in Eastern Africa.
Responsibilities
System Administration:
Provide and coordinate technical support for internal and external system users.
Perform data entry and data management, including executing a robust data quality control scheme.
Support the development and implementation of automated workflows, dashboards, and analytical reports.
Proactively utilize system data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement and business development.
Contract & Partnership Management:
Provide administrative support for an assigned portfolio of agreements and partner relations, primarily with users of CIMMYT maize products and services in Eastern Africa.
Implement contract lifecycle management for the assigned agreement portfolio, including following up on leads, contract execution, monitoring/reporting, amendment, and close-out.
Support communications and marketing campaigns, particularly product announcements for Eastern Africa maize breeding pipelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Additional relevant work experience highly desirable (e.g., systems administration, data management, data analysis, business intelligence, business development/marketing, customer/partnership relationship management, monitoring, evaluation and learning, seed industry, or contract management).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
