Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for recruitment as a Primary Schools Teacher, a candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate (This requirement applies specifically to Primary school positions).
• Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

General Recruitment Information

Please note the following guidelines and conditions related to the recruitment process:

1. The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines for the 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
2. Merit lists generated during this recruitment process for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be utilized in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates during interviews.
4. Successful candidates must ensure they do not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Submitting two or more forms will result in automatic disqualification.
5. Manual applications will strictly not be considered; all submissions must be made online.
6. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
7. Successful candidates will be liable to be posted to serve in any part of the country, not necessarily within the county or school where the interview was conducted.
