Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for recruitment, a candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate (for Primary schools).
• Must be a holder of a minimum of a Diploma in Education (Note: This qualification is mentioned generally for Junior Schools and Secondary schools, but the primary focus of this specific recruitment is for Primary Schools).

General Recruitment Information

Please note the following terms governing the recruitment process:

1. The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
2. Merit lists generated during this recruitment for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be used in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates.
4. Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Filling of two or more Application for Employment Forms will lead to disqualification.
5. Manual applications will not be considered.
6. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
7. Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily in the county or school where they were interviewed.
