Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for recruitment as a Primary School Teacher under this advertisement, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Be a Kenyan citizen.
2. Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate (essential for Primary schools).
3. Must be a teacher registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

General Information

Applicants should take note of the following conditions:

• The recruitment process is governed by the Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines for the 2025/2026 Financial Year.
• Merit lists generated during this recruitment exercise for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be utilized in subsequent recruitment processes within the same financial year.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates during the interview stage.
• Successful candidates are strictly prohibited from filling more than one Application for Employment Form. Submission of two or more Application for Employment Forms will lead to disqualification.
• Manual applications will not be considered.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
• Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country, and not necessarily restricted to the county or school where they were interviewed.
