The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is seeking to recruit 90 Primary Schools Teachers for deployment in Marsabit County. This role involves fulfilling teaching duties in primary schools as per the TSC guidelines and national curriculum.
Eligibility and Minimum Requirements
To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Citizenship: Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Qualification: Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate for Primary schools positions.
(Note: The recruitment advertisement generally covers candidates with a minimum of a Diploma in Education for Junior Schools and Secondary schools as well, but the specific posts advertised here are for Primary Schools.)
- Registration: Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Please note the following conditions:
- The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
- Merit lists generated during this recruitment for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be used in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates during the interview.
- Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Submission of two or more Application for Employment Forms will lead to disqualification.
- Manual applications will not be considered.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
- Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily in the county or school where they were interviewed.
