Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Must be a Kenyan citizen.
2. Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate (required for Primary school teachers). Note: A minimum of a Diploma in Education is required for Junior and Secondary schools, but this specific recruitment targets Primary teachers.
3. Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

General Recruitment Information

Please note the following conditions related to the recruitment process:

• The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
• Merit lists generated during this recruitment for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be utilized in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates.
• Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Filling of two or more forms will lead to automatic disqualification.
• Manual applications will not be considered; all applications must be submitted online.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
• Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily in the county or school where they were interviewed.
