The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is recruiting Primary School Teachers to fill 123 vacancies specifically for Trans Nzoia County. The core mission of the TSC is to professionalize the teaching service for quality education and development across the country.
This role involves serving as a teacher within primary schools under the Kenyan education system, and adherence to TSC professional conduct requirements is mandatory.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for recruitment, a candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must be a holder of a minimum of a P1 certificate (for Primary schools).
- Must be a holder of a minimum of a Diploma in Education (This minimum qualification is noted for Junior Schools and Secondary schools posts, which may be included in the general recruitment exercise).
- Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

- The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines for the 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
- Merit lists generated during this recruitment process for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be utilized in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original academic and professional certificates during the interview process.
- Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Submission of multiple forms will result in automatic disqualification.
- Manual applications will not be considered.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
- Successful candidates will be deployed to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily in the county or school where they were interviewed.
