AGL (Africa Global Logistics) is seeking a Pre-Delivery Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and diagnostics on vehicles prior to client delivery to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect all units as per the checklist before delivery to the Client.
Carry out receiving inspection of motor vehicles and report any defect/damages/missing items immediately.
Inspect motor vehicles as per the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) SOP.
Report any defect/damages as per the PDI standards.
Diagnose mechanical problems and servicing of the motor vehicles as per manuals.
Install parts & accessories as per specification.
Perform road tests for inspected vehicles as per SOP.
Complete PDI inspection sheets/reports and submit as per file management SOP.
Ensure no vehicle is released from PDI without 100% ok PDI.
Clean, repair and maintain workshop tools & equipment.
Update operational system (VITS/other).
Any other role assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
2 years of relevant experience.
