Woodland Star International School is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and reflective Physical and Health Education Intern for a part-time internship placement (unpaid, voluntary placement for 3–6 months).
Ideal Candidates

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the delivery of engaging, inquiry-based Physical and Health Education lessons.
Support the planning and implementation of PE activities and sports programmes.
Help create a supportive, inclusive, and challenging environment where all learners can participate meaningfully.
Assist in adapting activities to meet diverse learner needs.
Support the supervision and organisation of sports activities.
Encourage students to develop physical skills, teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits.
Assist with assessing learner participation, progress, and development.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, student support, and professional learning.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
Participate in school events, sports activities, projects, and community initiatives.
Uphold Woodland Star’s mission, values, Behaviour Code, and commitment to environmental sustainability.
Engage in continuous professional learning and reflective practice.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, completed or currently being pursued.
Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical education activities.
Ability to assist in planning, delivering, and supervising PE lessons and sports activities.
Ability to work effectively with neurodiverse students and support an inclusive learning environment.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
Professional, reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
Strong alignment with Woodland Star’s mission and values.
International or multicultural experience preferred.
First Aid/CPR or sports coaching certification is an added advantage.
Valid TSC Number for Kenyan applicants.
Current police clearance/background check.
Certified copies of academic and professional documents.
At least two professional references.
