Jocham Hospital is a leading private medical service provider situated along Mombasa/Malindi Road, after Nyali Bridge within Mombasa County. We are seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Pharmaceutical Technologist.
Role Description
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and managing medications, ensuring quality pharmaceutical care for patients, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients.
Provide clear instructions to patients regarding drug dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and assist with stock inventory management.
Ensure safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards in pharmaceutical services.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
Active professional registration and licensing where applicable.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
