We are currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team at the Nakuru medical centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional services while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform laboratory procedures and ensure accurate reporting of results.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of and implement Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives.
Use Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) to maintain patient records and data.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare delivery.
Maintain compliance with legal and professional standards required by regulatory bodies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Degree in Laboratory Sciences or a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
At least one year of professional working experience (can include internship).
Must be registered and hold a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Demonstrated training and understanding of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Proficiency in computer applications, specifically Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
