Job Description
Equity Afia is a network of qualified and experienced medical professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare across Kenya. We are currently looking for a professional to join our team in Moyale. While the role is titled Pharmaceutical Technologist, the current requirements focus on Laboratory Sciences and diagnostic support.
Responsibilities
Execute laboratory diagnostic procedures and maintain high clinical standards.
Implement and adhere to Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives.
Manage patient records and clinical data using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain accurate documentation of all procedures.
Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality service delivery and patient care.
Adhere to the standards set by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Requirements
Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
At least one year of internship working experience.
Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Trained and must demonstrate understanding of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives.
Proficiency in computer skills, specifically in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
