Pharmaceutical Technologist

This is a full-time role focusing on accurate medication dispensing and providing comprehensive patient counseling, particularly for patients managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Dispense medications accurately to patients.
2. Provide expert counseling on complex treatment regimens, including insulin administration, the use of glucometers, BP monitors, statins, and SGLT2 inhibitors (SGLT2s).
3. Demonstrate the correct and safe use of medical devices to patients.
4. Develop and maintain trust and strong relationships with regular patients to ensure adherence and continuity of care.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Must hold a Diploma or a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Licensing: Possession of a valid 2025 Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) license is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience is required. Experience dealing specifically with diabetes and heart patients is highly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent patient communication skills are essential for effectively counselling and educating customers.
