Job Description
Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to support pharmaceutical services through safe dispensing, patient counseling, and inventory management. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient delivery of pharmacy services while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all medicines are dispensed accurately according to valid prescriptions.
Accurate Dispensing:
Patient Counseling: Provide clear and helpful counseling to patients regarding the proper use, dosage, potential side effects, and storage of their medications.
Inventory Management: Efficiently manage pharmaceutical stock and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stockouts or expirations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with the regulations set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Licensing: Possession of a valid and current license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
