Triggerise is a non-profit that motivates users – primarily young women and adolescent girls – to make positive choices. We use nudges like reminders, discounts, in person and digital follow-ups, and reward points to encourage our users to access and use healthy products and services. We also support them in becoming entrepreneurs.
The Partnership Manager is the key person who creates, manages, and maintains strong relationships with the county governments, other local partners, and community-based organizations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Tiko's voice is heard by engaging stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Enlisting the help of the Ecosystem Launchers and Trainers to ensure local county governments and CBOs are educated on our Tiko platform and how it works.
- Being the point of contact that aligns our operational execution with stakeholder particularities.
- Coordinating activities with the other field teams to ensure that work runs smoothly and effectively and that things do not fall through the cracks.
- Participating in relevant working groups and making sure Tiko is best represented.
- Ensuring that you’re aware of our operational results and proactively address any issues that arise.
Candidate Profile
You are a politically sensitive and aware communicator, possessing qualities such as tact and patience. You are practical, flexible, and organised, and thrive when you are communicating and bringing people together.
Requirements
- You must be based in Kisumu, Kenya.
- Post graduate or Master degree in International relations, Social Sciences, project management, and development relevant field. (BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA qualifications are acceptable).
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the development / humanitarian sector/with NGOs, with at least 2 years’ experience in partnership-based programming or community-based programming.
- Good skills and experience in all aspects of programme cycle management: design and development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrable experience of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and beneficiary accountability.
- You have excellent communication skills and are able to represent Tiko confidently in front of donors and at public events.
- Experience in organizational capacity development, training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Excellent training, facilitation, and capacity building skills.
