Part-Time Teaching - Marketing, Procurement and Project Management

The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to pursue higher education.

This role involves part-time teaching and potentially content development in the specialized fields of Marketing, Procurement, and Project Management.

Requirements for Content Developers / Lecturers

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1: Ph.D. Qualification

• An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.

OR

Option 2: Master's Qualification (In special cases)

• A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University;
• At least three (3) years teaching experience at university level; and
• Registered in good standing for PhD in the relevant field.
