The Open University of Kenya (OUK) aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, OUK seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.The role is for a Part-Time Content Developer / Lecturer in the domain of Engineering and Applied Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relevant course content and delivering high-quality instruction to university students, ensuring academic rigor and relevance, especially within an online/distance learning framework.### Requirements for Content Developers / LecturersCandidates must meet one of the following criteria:1. An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.2. A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University, coupled with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level. Candidates applying via this route must also be registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
