Job Description
The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.
This is a Part-Time Teaching role focused on Education Leadership and Training. Successful candidates will function as both Content Developers and Lecturers, supporting the university's innovative approach to education delivery.
Requirements for Content Developers / Lecturers
Qualified candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
PhD Qualification: An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
Master's Qualification (Special Cases): A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University, with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, AND must be registered in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
