Part-Time Teaching - Agriculture and Food Systems

The Open University of Kenya (OUK) aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, OUK seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.

This part-time role involves serving as a Content Developer / Lecturer specializing in Agriculture and Food Systems.

Requirements for Content Developers / Lecturers

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
2. OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases), combined with:
   • At least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level.
   • Registration in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
