Bomet University College is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Part-Time Lecturer in Physics. The successful applicant will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instruction in Physics.
Support the university's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Participate in student evaluations, grading exams, and assessing academic performance.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students on academic and research matters.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Physics or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).
