The Packing Plant Operator is responsible for the efficient operation and physical inspection of the roto packer machine within the cement packing plant, ensuring product quality and adherence to established operational guidelines.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Physically inspect the roto packer machine and operate it efficiently according to established guidelines.
Report all observed cement bag defectiveness and any malfunctions that contribute to bag damage.
Regularly confirm packed cement weights and ensure clear coding on all bags.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the operational area.
Assist in corrective maintenance activities as required.
Perform other assigned duties as directed by the shift supervisor or plant management.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience Required
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Proven hands-on experience of at least 2 years in cement roto packer operations.
Any other relevant technical qualification will be considered an added advantage.
