The Catholic Diocese of Kitui is seeking to recruit qualified P 1 Teachers to join its educational institutions. The diocese covers the entire Kitui County, including districts such as Kitui West, Central, Lower Yatta, Mwingi, and others. The role involves delivering quality instruction to students, implementing the Competency-Based Education (CBE) framework, and contributing to the spiritual and academic growth of learners in accordance with the Diocese's values.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students in accordance with school guidelines.
Implement the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum effectively.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to learners and parents.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, conducive learning environment.
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and co-curricular programs.
Uphold the professional and ethical standards of the teaching profession and the Catholic Diocese.
Requirements
Possession of a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Education.
Must be fully registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Proficiency in computer applications (Computer literate).
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Must be compliant with Competency-Based Education (CBE) standards.
A valid recommendation letter from a Parish Priest or Church Minister is mandatory.
