Job Description
AGL (Africa Global Logistics), the reference multimodal logistics operator in Africa and part of the MSC family, is seeking a Client Operations Executive for the Sinotruk Account. This role is responsible for the end-to-end coordination, planning, execution, and tracking of all Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) activities related to the Sinotruk contract and operations. The successful candidate will ensure seamless logistics flow through meticulous shipment management and adherence to customs regulations.
Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination: Manage shipment and order coordination for both inbound and outbound logistics, receiving orders and overseeing their execution.
File Management & Archiving: Maintain comprehensive shipment records and ensure up-to-date filing of all required documentation, including customs and supplier paperwork.
Customs Processing: Handle customs duty and tax payment processing, including the validation of customs agent declarations.
Financial Documentation: Prepare payment requests with necessary evidence such as entries, evidence of validation, and cover sheets with cost breakdowns (Duty, excise, VAT) following Finance formats.
Liaison: Follow up on Proof of Payment (POP) and share relevant information with customs agents.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Diploma or Degree in Commerce or a related business field.
At least 3 years of professional experience specifically within the Clearing and Forwarding industry.
Proficiency in logistics record-keeping and customs documentation.
