We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine or an equivalent qualification (such as MRCP), followed by subspecialty training in Oncology. The role requires strong experience in managing solid tumors, delivering patient-centered care, and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with solid tumors.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient management.
- Participate in tumor boards, case reviews, and clinical meetings.
- Monitor patient progress, interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide compassionate patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and adhere to medical ethics and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to training, continuous medical education, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Engage in clinical research or academic activities where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:
- Master’s degree in Internal Medicine or equivalent (e.g., MRCP).
- Subspecialty training in Oncology from a recognized institution.
- Proven clinical experience with solid tumors.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
