Role Overview
The County Government of Nyeri is recruiting 25 Nurses Interns. This internship program is designed to provide nursing graduates with practical, hands-on clinical and community health experience in a public health setting. Under the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals, interns will support healthcare delivery and patient care within Nyeri County health facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality basic nursing care to patients in various hospital departments.
Assist in patient triage, clinical assessments, and initial evaluations.
Maintain accurate and precise patient health records and documentation.
Administer medications and clinical treatments under the direct supervision of registered nursing staff.
Support primary healthcare initiatives, maternal health services, and community outreach programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
A strong commitment to clinical excellence, empathy, and professional growth.
