This role is for a Tentative Middle School (MS) Science Teacher at The International School of Kenya (ISK). Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education: Hold a University Bachelor's degree, or equivalent (an advanced degree in Education is highly desirable).
Certification: Possess Teacher certification from an accredited university/college. The degree and certification should be relevant to the teaching position (Middle School Science).
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant teaching experience is required. International School experience is preferred.
Pedagogical Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of pedagogy and instructional approaches, curriculum design, and assessment aligned with ISK's mission, vision, and educational philosophy. This includes experience with:
Curriculum Knowledge: Experience with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and with OpenSciEd is highly valued.
