Job Description
Patanisho Maternity and Nursing Home is a facility practically placed to offer and capitalise on the evolving need for affordable and quality medical services provision. We are dedicated to building strong partnerships that create new business opportunities and ensure accessibility of medical services to our clients. We are currently looking for a Medical Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical diagnosis and treatment to patients.
Manage obstetric and gynecological cases within the maternity facility.
Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Perform clinical procedures and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with nursing and other support staff for integrated patient care.
Adhere to the regulations and ethical guidelines set by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, post-internship.
Valid and current Practicing License.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Additional training post-college in areas such as Obstetrics and Gynecology is an advantage.
Training in BEMONC, BLS, and ACLS is an added advantage.
Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya regarding integrity.
