About the Role
The Marketing Executive provides administrative, operational, and creative support to the marketing department at Kempinski Hotels. This role involves assisting the Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing in executing marketing strategies, managing online and offline media, conducting competition benchmarking, maintaining social media channels, and upholding corporate brand guidelines across all hotel communications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for the marketing office.
Coordinate and arrange appointments and schedules.
Maintain filing systems and handle phone calls.
Handle daily correspondence and financial documents such as purchase orders and expense claims.
Handle all agency and vendor invoices and act as the main point of contact for billing matters.
Assist the Marketing Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing in creating and implementing marketing activities, including collateral creation/printing, promotions, packages, advertising, market analysis, shoot coordination, content creation/editing/posting, and social media scheduling.
Maintain hotel listings across online and offline media platforms.
Handle site inspections.
Plan, coordinate, and implement direct marketing campaigns online and offline.
Maintain guest database for mailings and marketing outreach.
Liaise with the F&B department to promote food and beverage outlets.
Assist in the creation of media and marketing plans.
Conduct competition checks and regular benchmarking.
Create office presentations, coordinate giveaway items, and maintain promotional collateral.
Upload and maintain picture storage and distribution systems (Picture Park).
Provide content and images for websites according to Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines.
Ensure content and photography on 3rd party websites are accurate and updated.
Ensure strict compliance with Corporate Identity guidelines and keep colleagues informed of updates.
Attend relevant marketing meetings.
Play a support role in developing the hotel marketing budget and updating budget figures periodically.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments (especially Sales, Public Relations, and Web teams) as well as external creative agencies and suppliers.
Stay updated with the latest developments, promotions, rates, and activities in the hotel.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or in Communication & Marketing.
2 years of experience in a similar position.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Solid knowledge of marketing basics.
Knowledge of graphic design and technical print terms.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of creative software such as Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
