Job Description
The County Government of Kitui is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Market Cleaner. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of designated market areas within the county, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for vendors and the public. This is a contractual position. The appointing authority requires the candidate to be able to perform manual labor as part of the job.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and maintain market areas, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
Collect and dispose of waste from markets to designated disposal sites.
Ensure market areas are free from litter and debris.
Adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear.
Work under the supervision of designated County officials.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
At least 18 years of age and above.
Be in possession of a National Identification Card.
Minimum of Primary School Certificate.
Be physically fit to perform manual labour.
