The Manager – Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed Platform as a Service (PaaS) systems with Kubernetes and its flavors, such as RedHat OpenShift Container Platforms. The role involves interfacing with application development teams to ensure that applications fit within the infrastructure with scalability, reliability, and security designed and implemented from the onset. Additionally, you will lead the automation of infrastructure at a massive scale and champion the 'Open source first' initiative to prepare the bank for future digital service demands.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and support high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed PaaS systems using Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift.
Interface with application development teams to ensure applications fit within the infrastructure with built-in scalability, reliability, and security.
Establish and improve team processes and workflows to maximize the efficiency and productivity of both people and systems.
Lead the automation of infrastructure at a massive scale to support the scaling of digital services.
Champion the 'Open source first' initiative as a fit-for-the-future strategy within the function.
Provide effective team management and leadership to the cloud infrastructure team.
Requirements, Qualifications, and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in an ICT-related field or Electrical Engineering.
Overall Experience: Minimum of 5 years of total experience in Information Technology.
Containerization Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Containers.
OS Administration: Minimum of 3 years of experience in RedHat/Linux Administration.
Automation & Cloud: 1 year of experience in IT Automation and 1 year of experience in Public Cloud Administration.
Professional Certifications:
Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS) or RedHat OpenShift Administrator/Containers certification.
Linux Certification.
Azure Architect, AWS Architect, or SysOps certification.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
