Gap Recruitment Services Limited is seeking an M-Pesa Attendant in Nairobi to manage mobile money transactions and provide exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
M-Pesa Transactions & Cash Handling
Perform M-Pesa transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, and airtime purchases.
Ensure accurate recording of all transactions and balances.
Maintain sufficient float and cash levels at all times.
Balance cash and M-Pesa float daily and report any discrepancies immediately.
Customer Service
Serve customers professionally, courteously, and efficiently.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding M-Pesa services and transactions.
Resolve basic customer complaints or escalate issues where necessary.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Compliance & Security
Adhere strictly to Safaricom M-Pesa operating procedures and compliance guidelines.
Ensure proper KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures are followed.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction data.
Observe security procedures to prevent fraud, loss, or theft.
Reporting & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate transaction records and daily reconciliation reports.
Prepare end-of-day summaries for review by the supervisor.
Ensure proper filing of transaction-related documentation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
KCSE minimum grade C minus.
Prior experience as an M-Pesa Attendant or in a similar cash-handling role is an added advantage.
Basic computer literacy.
Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work long hours, weekends, or shifts as required.
