Job Description
This Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist role reports directly to the Pharmacy in-Charge. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurately dispensing medication to ensure effective treatment for patients.
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Pharmacy in-Charge, the incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurate dispensing of medication in order to achieve effective treatment for the patient.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing.
Management of pharmacy inventory.
Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Experience: At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
Essential Competencies:
ICT competency.
Excellent customer service skills.
Self-motivated and a team player.
Pleasant personality.
