Role Overview
Reporting to the Pharmacy in-Charge, the Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurately dispensing medication in order to achieve effective treatment for the patient.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing.
Management of pharmacy inventory.
Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
Position Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations and relevant technical and interpersonal competencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
Skills and Attributes:
ICT competency.
Excellent customer service.
Self motivated and a team player.
Pleasant personality.
