Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist - Kisumu

This Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist role reports to the Pharmacy in-Charge and is responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medication by reviewing prescriptions to achieve effective patient treatment within the clinic.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Pharmacy in-Charge, the incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurate dispensing of medication in order to achieve effective treatment for the patient.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties associated with this position include:

• Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing.
• Management of pharmacy inventory (stock control).
• Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
• Ensuring strict compliance with internal and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.

Position requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
