Job Description
AAR Healthcare, one of the largest providers of outpatient healthcare services in East Africa with a network of 21 clinics across the country, is currently seeking highly motivated Locum Pharmaceutical Technologists for its facilities in the Coast region. At AAR Healthcare, we utilize experienced medical and management staff, internationally approved disease management protocols, and state-of-the-art information technology systems.
This contract role reports directly to the Pharmacy in-Charge. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurately dispensing medication in order to achieve effective treatment for the patient.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing of medication.
Management of pharmacy inventory, including stock control and expiry monitoring.
Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
Ensure full compliance with all internal policies and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
Skills and Attributes:
ICT competency.
Excellent customer service skills.
Self-motivated and a team player.
Pleasant personality suited for direct patient/customer interaction.
