Job Description
This Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist role reports directly to the Pharmacy in-Charge. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and ensuring the accurate dispensing of medication to achieve effective treatment outcomes for patients.
Overall Purpose of the Job
To ensure effective treatment for patients by reviewing prescriptions and accurately dispensing medication.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription validation, verification, and dispensing.
Management of pharmacy inventory.
Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
Position Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
Skills and Attributes:
ICT competency.
Excellent customer service.
Self-motivated and a team player.
Pleasant personality.
