Job Description
The role of the Locum Nurse is critical in ensuring the provision of quality nursing services, reporting directly to the Nurse in-Charge.
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Nurse in-Charge, the incumbent will be responsible for the provision of quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
Patients triaging
Administration of medicine and performance of clinical procedures
Patients management
Implementation of infection prevention within the facility for the safety of patients and health workers
Clinical data entry for patients
Nursing tools and equipment management
Position Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this locum position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Diploma in Nursing
Licensing: Must possess a valid practicing license from the Nursing council.
Experience: At least two years of experience as a practicing nurse.
Technical Skills: Technical expertise in nursing procedures.
IT Proficiency: ICT competency/proficiency.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, self-motivated and a team player, and a pleasant personality.
