Locum Laboratory Technologists

AAR Healthcare is seeking Locum Laboratory Technologists based in Nakuru. This role reports to the Health Centre Manager and is responsible for performing laboratory-based scientific medical investigations to provide accurate laboratory diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Registration, collection and processing of client samples within the limits of specific tests.
• Communication of laboratory results.
• Maintain high standards of quality laboratory practice by use of proper reagents, well-calibrated machines, and a clean working environment.
• Preparation of laboratory reports.
• Participation in internal QC programmes and logging in the appropriate registers.

Position Requirements

To be considered for this locum position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board.
• At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
• Demonstrated ICT competency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.
• Possession of a pleasant personality.
