Job Description
This Locum Health Centre Receptionist role is based in Thika and reports directly to the Health Centre Manager. The incumbent is responsible for providing essential administrative support and ensuring the efficient and pleasant management of all front office operations. This is a contractual position.
Key Responsibilities
Registration of patients and meticulous verification of medical benefits.
Manage and coordinate all client appointments.
Handle billing processes and ensure timely collection of revenue.
Generate necessary periodic administrative and financial reports.
Manage requisitions and petty cash.
Maintain a pleasant, professional, and welcoming front office environment.
Position Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Must possess a Diploma in a business-related course.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of appropriate experience in Front Office or Reception operations is required.
Skills & Attributes:
Demonstrate good customer service and people skills.
Be self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
Possess a pleasant personality suitable for a front-facing role.
Have excellent communication skills.
