Legal Officer - Corporate Services

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts to safeguard Company operations.
• Providing legal advisory services to various departments within the organization.
• Ensuring the Company complies with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Maintaining high standards of corporate governance.
• Protecting the Company's interests through robust legal support and risk management.

Job Competencies

• Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
• Professional Qualifications:
  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practising certificate.
  • Membership of Law Society of Kenya (LSK) in good standing.
  • Being a registered CPS (K) member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya in good standing is an added advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years post-admission experience in a busy legal or corporate environment.
