Job Description

Kituo Cha Sheria (KITUO) is the oldest, most experienced legal aid providing and human rights non-governmental organization in Kenya, and across the East and Horn of Africa region. KITUO exists to empower the poor and marginalized and to enhance equity and access to justice for all.

Law Pupils (6 Months Contract)

This is an opportunity for Law Pupils who have successfully completed the Advocates Training Programme (ATP Programme) to undertake their mandatory six (6) month pupilage period. We are seeking individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful change within the organization, particularly in the fields of legal aid and human rights.

Key Details and Requirements

Qualification: Must possess a Law Degree (BA/BSc/HND equivalent).
Mandatory Requirement: Successful completion of the Advocates Training Programme (ATP Programme).
Duration: 6 months fixed-term contract.
Placement Location: Positions are available at our offices in Nairobi and Mombasa, as well as in our various social justice centres.
Commencement Date: The placements for law pupils will commence on 1st January 2026 and are expected to run until 30th June 2026.
