KBC Industrial Attachment

Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is a State Corporation committed to excellence in broadcast services to our audience, customers and the public. Its core aim is to inform, educate and entertain the public through Radio and Television services. The Corporation is offering industrial attachment opportunities to dynamic, self-driven, and results-oriented students who are currently enrolled in recognized institutions.

Duration of Attachment

The industrial attachment opportunities are available in various Departments for a maximum (non-renewable) period of three (3) months, effective from 5th January to 31st March, 2026.

Industrial Attachment Intake Criteria

The intake for industrial attachment is based on the following criteria:

• Field of specialization and relevance of the course of study.
• The Corporation’s ability to accommodate the trainee.
• Availability of requisite facilities and attachment slots.
• First come first served basis.
• Year of study (3rd & 4th year of study for undergraduate students and 2nd year of study for Diploma students).

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student from a recognized University OR a 2nd year Diploma student from a recognized College.
• Complete the online application form and clearly indicate the relevant department for attachment.
• Provide a Recommendation letter from the university or College (must be attached).
• Provide a Copy of National Identification card/Passport (must be attached).
• Provide Evidence of registration for the Attachment unit.
