Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for recruitment, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must be a registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Academic Qualification:
- For Junior Schools and Secondary Schools: Minimum of a Diploma in Education.
- For Primary Schools: Minimum of a P1 certificate.

- The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines 2025/2026 Financial Year shall apply.
- Merit lists generated during this recruitment for both Primary and Secondary Schools will be utilized in subsequent recruitment processes within the financial year.
- Shortlisted candidates must present original academic and professional certificates during the interview process.
- Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Filling of multiple forms will lead to disqualification.
- Manual applications will not be considered; all applications must be submitted online.
- Preference may be given to applicants who have not previously been employed by the Teachers Service Commission.
- Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily restricted to the county or school where they were interviewed (Machakos is the initial advertising location, but national deployment is possible).
