Job Description
Mirema School, a Christian-based primary school offering the 2.6.6.3/8.4.4 curriculum, International British Curriculum & Special Needs Curriculum, is seeking a qualified Junior School Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Agriculture and Integrated Science at the Junior School level.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, learner-centered lessons in Agriculture and Integrated Science, ensuring understanding of scientific concepts.
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources aligned with curriculum and school standards.
Conduct hands-on experiments in the lab and practical demonstrations on the school farm to connect theory with practice.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and use varied teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, maintain accurate records, and uphold school policies and professionalism.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teaching Education, with subject specialization.
5 years' relevant experience.
TSC Registration.
Valid certificate of good conduct.
Skills and Attributes
Strong Interpersonal and communication Skills.
Computer Skills.
