Job Description
The role of the IT Applications Support Officer at Access Bank Kenya is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of the Bank's core banking systems and other critical IT applications. The successful candidate will be a passionate and innovative professional dedicated to resolving technical issues, supporting business users, and maintaining system stability within a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities (Inferred)
Provide first and second-level technical support for all operational applications, including the Core Banking System (CBS) and integrated digital channels.
Manage and resolve application incidents, service requests, and problems efficiently according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
Perform daily system health checks, routine maintenance, and monitoring to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.
Assist in the deployment of new application versions, patches, and configurations.
Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal development teams to escalate complex issues and manage resolution workflows.
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to application architecture, support procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure application security and compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on application functionalities to maximize efficient usage.
Qualifications
BA/BSc/HND qualification in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
Must be a passionate and innovative professional.
