Inventory Supervisor - KBL Kisumu

This role, Inventory Supervisor, is based in the KBL Kisumu Warehouse Operations and reports directly to the Operations Controller. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring meticulous inventory control, reconciliation, and accurate system data management for the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas:

• System Integrity & Data Management: Daily review of all SAP data postings (issues, receipts, and transfers) by the TRH and SAP team, ensuring accuracy and providing feedback for correction. This includes providing guidance to SAP Data clerks on all system reversals.
• Physical Inventory Control: Daily review of physical daily counts and providing feedback to physical inventory supervisors for corrections. Following up on warehouse shorts and excesses reported in daily counts.
• Reconciliation & Variance Management: Conduct daily physical versus system reconciliation for beer, Keg, and UDV products. Reconcile all receipts from Trade dispatches, inter-warehouse transfers, and reversals. Escalate and obtain variance explanations daily for Kisumu, and follow up on the closure of all variances reported in daily reconciliation.
• Stock Take & Reporting: Execute stock take on a monthly basis. Conduct Kisumu Beer, Keg, UDV Empties stock take, request approval, and post results in SAP. Reconcile breakages for Kisumu and develop weekly and monthly breakages reports detailing reason codes and partners responsible. Report and present inventory status on a weekly basis in contract review, Head of Department (HOD), and inventory meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Business Degree in Finance/Accounting or Operations/Supply Chain Management.
• Professional Certification: Professional Certification in CPA, ACCA, APICS, or CIPS is considered an added advantage.
