City Walk Ltd provides products of superior quality which connect directly to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Inventory Accountant to manage end-to-end inventory transactions across our central warehouse and 38 branches. This role is key to maintaining stock accuracy and financial reporting integrity.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory transactions for the central warehouse and 38 branches.
Final Stock Sign-Off: Partner with the Inventory Controller for physical-to-GL verification and sign-off.
Returns-to-Credit Management: Manage the full returns-to-credit cycle for both customer and branch returns.
Ledger Verification: Reconcile branch stock back to the head office general ledger.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
3+ years of inventory accounting experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution with multi-branch operations (minimum of 5 branches).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Enquest (Preferred).
Strong understanding of inventory valuation methods and provisions.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA (or actively pursuing) are strongly preferred.
Experience in fashion, footwear, or perfumes/cosmetics is a plus.
Knowledge of WMS integration, inter-branch transfers, and elimination accounting.
