The role of Inspector (Mechanical – MVP) is a permanent and pensionable position within the County Government of Kitui. The successful officer will work under the supervision of a senior officer, primarily focusing on ensuring the effective repair and maintenance of the County's motor vehicles and plant equipment.
Salary Scale
Ksh. 26,900 – 35,380 per month. (This scale is incremental, starting at Ksh. 26,900 and rising to Ksh. 35,380).
Duties and Responsibilities
The officer will be supervised by a senior officer in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and plant.
Inspection and test vehicles and equipment before and after repairs.
Conduct proficiency test for drivers.
Requirements for Appointment
Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Hold a Diploma in Automotive Engineering or an approved equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Possess a Valid Driving License.
